LAS VEGAS, Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Comedian Kevin Burke is celebrating his 13-month anniversary after performing more than 350 shows of 'Fitz of Laughter' at Fitz Casino & Hotel Las Vegas. Known as a comedy genius for his fast wit and hilarious exposure of psychic con-games, Burke brings 32 years of performing to create a unique comedy experience.
Burke was originally asked to perform a one-time comedy set as a favor at the Comedy Club at the Fitz, but his material was such a hit he was given a full time show. "Kevin has been a tremendous addition to our property and his show is truly the best in the industry," commented Fitz Vice President of Entertainment, Gene Sagas. Burke currently performs 'Fitz of Laughter' nightly in the Showroom at Fitz Casino & Hotel. Burke has also taken his show on the road performing on national television shows such as Oprah, The CBS Morning News and The Dr. Laura Berman show.
The self-proclaimed World's Only Psychic Comedian uses his talents to perform outrageously funny psychic stunts and sidesplitting physical comedy in his show. From "the Blade of Death" to the critically acclaimed "Totality of Art," Burke constantly has the audience on the edge of the their seats contemplating, "How did he do that?"
Burke claims his secret to success is the personalized attention he gives to his audience. "Every night, I switch it up. Each show is different," stated Burke, who is also one of the founders of Improv Olympics. "I like to engage my audience by interacting with them. It's their responses to my impromptu style that determines the pieces I perform and which jokes I tell." This, coupled with his comedic talent, is what led Burke to win the 2009 Meatball Awards' "Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year."
Burke can also be seen performing daily in Defending the Caveman at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
'Fitz of Laughter' is the only show in Las Vegas with a 9:13 p.m. start time and can be experienced seven nights per week inside the Showroom at the Fitz Casino & Hotel.
