PwC US Supports Colorado Entrepreneurs with New Strategic Alliance with Galvanize

New Alliance Aimed At Fostering Innovation in Colorado and beyond

DENVER, Aug. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US today announced that it has entered into a strategic alliance with Galvanize, a Colorado-based entrepreneurial ecosystem designed to support startups in the region.  This collaboration highlights PwC's increased focus on emerging technology companies and its expertise in advising high-growth companies throughout Colorado and beyond.

Through this alliance, PwC will provide ongoing support and lend its consulting expertise to Galvanize's more than 300 community members of innovators and entrepreneurs who share Galvanize's state-of-the-art facility with the goal of generating new business ideas through collaboration.

In addition to PwC's involvement with Galvanize, the firm's Denver office has been dedicated to strengthening the region's focus on innovation by supporting other new initiatives including the Governor's Office of Economic Development and International Trade's Colorado Innovation Network (COIN). PwC is the lead sponsor for COIN's Glorious Failures competition, which celebrates groundbreaking ideas in business innovation.

Galvanize has announced plans to open another Colorado location in 2014 and is exploring expansion to other cities within the next several years.
