 Rainmaker Systems Inc. (Nasdaq:   RMKR) a leading outsource provider of
 Internet-enabled sales and marketing services, today announced that it has
 successfully launched its services for
 Caldera International, Inc. (Nasdaq:   CALD).  Rainmaker is selling and renewing
 support and maintenance contracts for Caldera's award winning UNIX and Linux
 Operating System product lines in North America.
     Using the Renewal and Attach services from its Contract Renewals Plus(SM)
 (CRP) suite of services, Rainmaker is targeting existing customers to renew
 their contracts, and selling contracts to new customers in conjunction with
 their initial investment in Caldera products.
     Caldera chose Rainmaker's proven solution in order to cost-effectively
 expand its base of active support and maintenance contracts.  By outsourcing
 to Rainmaker, Caldera can improve the efficiency of customer interactions
 resulting in more contract renewals and effective customer relationships.
