 (OTC Bulletin Board:   RBCB.OB) announced after-tax earnings of $141,000 for the
 first quarter of 2001, up from $123,000 for the same quarter of 2000, a
 15% increase in profit.
     For the quarter ending March 31, 2001 Rancho Bernardo Community Bank's
 total assets grew 23% from $62,170,000 to $76,223,000, total loans increased
 18% from $45,760,000 to $53,926,000 and total deposits increased 22% from
 $56,140,000 to $68,246,000.
