Rawlings® Announces New Partnership with Motion Analysis Company Blast Motion®
Collaboration to commence with Rawlings' new 'Mantra' softball bat to be released in early 2021.
ST. LOUIS, Jan. 13, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Rawlings®, a world-wide leading sporting goods manufacturer, recently entered a new business relationship with performance insights company Blast Motion®. This partnership will be centered around Rawlings' non-wood bat category and will enable the legacy sports brand to engineer their new 'Mantra' softball bat to exclusively feature Blast Motion's industry-leading sensor technology. The Mantra, Powered by Blast®, will launch globally across multiple retail, team dealer and online channels later this month.

Rawlings' Mantra softball bat is the first bat in the industry engineered specifically to accommodate the Blast swing analyzer (sensor) and is approved for in-game use. The Blast solution combines Blast Motion's patented swing analysis technology with auto-edited video clips in an easy-to-use mobile app, providing real-time or remote coaching feedback designed for player development and collegiate recruiting.
The Rawlings Mantra bat and Blast Motion sensor will be available for purchase separately on each company's website, online at select retailers and in-stores beginning in mid-January 2021.
