Red Herring Communications Names John Goecke Creative Director

    SAN FRANCISCO, April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Red Herring Communications, Inc.,
 the leading media company focusing on technology and innovation, has appointed
 John Goecke to the newly created position of Creative Director.  Goecke will
 be responsible for the branding and editorial design of Red Herring
 Communications platforms, the bi-weekly magazine, online, research, and
 events.
     Goecke comes to Red Herring Communications with an extensive background in
 print publishing and online design.  Most recently, he served as Creative
 Director of Geocast Network Systems, a data broadcasting company focused on
 delivering broadband content.  Previously, Goecke was Vice-President, Design
 for the web consulting company, Interactive Bureau.  Earlier, he was the
 Design Director at @Home Network, establishing the first version of the
 broadband web site and the service's editorial direction.  He has also held
 various design positions at the Baltimore Sun, Detroit Free Press, Dallas
 Times Herald, and Knight Ridder/Tribune Information Services.
