Retail Division Manager Promoted to Citizens Trust Bank

    ATLANTA, April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Citizens Trust Bank announced
 that it had promoted E. Jacques Lee, Manager of the Retail Division at
 Citizens Trust Bank, to Senior Vice President.  Ms. Lee was actively involved
 in the historic merger that took place between Citizens Trust Bank and First
 Southern Bank of Lithonia in 1998, and was critical to the success of the
 conversion that took place when Citizens Trust Bank acquired Mutual Federal
 Savings Bank in 2000.  Among the latest of Ms. Lee's accomplishments was her
 assistance in the opening of a branch location in Columbus, Georgia, the first
 state-wide operation for the bank.
     Ms. Lee began her career with Citizens Trust Bank as a result of the
 merger with First Southern Bank with almost twenty years of retail banking
 experience and intimate knowledge of financial products.  As manager of the
 Retail Division, Ms. Lee's main responsibility lies within the management of
 Citizens Trust Bank's 12 branch locations throughout the metro Atlanta Area.
 In addition, Ms. Lee is also responsible for the development of the retail
 financial products that allow the bank to remain competitive.

     Ms. Lee received her undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Economics
 from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts.  Upon graduation she joined
 Fulton Federal Savings and Loan as a Management Associate and worked her way
 into the position of Branch Manager.  After ten years she then became a Branch
 Manager at First Union National Bank where she spent another seven years
 before joining First Southern Bank of Lithonia as Regional Branch Manager.
 She has been selected for two consecutive years as one of the 100 most
 influential women in banking and finance by the Women Looking Ahead Magazine.
 Ms. Lee is married to Dr. Sylvester Lee and has 4 children.
