RF|Binder Expands Consumer and Corporate Practice Groups with 2012 Associate Program
Associate Program Celebrates 10th Anniversary
NEW YORK, Aug. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- RF|Binder, a New York-based integrated public relations and marketing communications agency, today announced the expansion of its corporate, consumer, and digital divisions with the hiring of eight talented recent college graduates recruited to be part of the agency's 2012 Associate Program. This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the RF|Binder Associate Program, which is designed to initiate recent outstanding college graduates in to the field of public relations.

"The agency celebrates these new employees as valuable additions to our practice groups while providing an opportunity to foster unique professional development within our agency."
The new Associates are graduates from top colleges and universities across the country. The three new hires in the corporate practice include: Alexandra Baum, who graduated from Northwestern University (Medill) with a B.S. in Political Science and Journalism; Audrey Belloff, who graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. Political Science; and Stephanie Libous who graduated from Union College with a B.A. in Anthropology and a minor in English. There will also be three new associates joining the consumer practice: Alicia Clarke, who graduated from Penn State University with a B.A. in Public Relations and International Studies; Emily Kjesbo, who graduated from The University of Arizona with a B.A. Journalism; and Arielle Schwartz who graduated from Syracuse University with B.A. in Public Relations. The Digital Media Group also welcomes a new team member: Hilary Ferguson who is joining from the University of Kansas with a B.A. in Journalism. And finally the Boston office will be adding a new associate to both the corporate and consumer teams: Sophie Hamersley who graduated Saint Michael's College with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Marketing.
The RF|Binder Associates Program received more than 500 applications for the 2012 class. The four-step selection process is one of the most rigorous in the industry and is designed to not only discover the brightest, but the most passionate young professionals. Through the first year of employment, the Associates will gain an understanding of the public relations field through targeted training sessions, senior mentorship, and total immersion working in the fast-paced, creative and challenging environment of an award-winning pr agency.
