Rocketrip Names Jake Farmakis Director of Customer Success

Travel tech entrepreneur chosen to oversee customer success and user engagement at Rocketrip

NEW YORK, August 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Rocketrip, a platform that rewards employees for saving money on business travel, today named Jake Farmakis Director of Customer Success. A former financial consultant and the founder of TripSavvy, Farmakis joins Rocketrip with a wealth of industry experience and dedication to improving the corporate travel experience.

Prior to joining Rocketrip, Farmakis was the CEO and founder of TripSavvy, a private social network for business travelers where employees rate, review, and share tips about travel experiences. Originally called Paradine, his company was named the "Best Travel App for Business Travelers" at Concur's The Perfect Trip DevCon in the fall of 2014. TripSavvy established partnerships with some of world's leading travel platforms.

Farmakis became passionate about improving business travel during his five years as a road warrior in financial services. Before launching TripSavvy, he served as a financial consultant at Dreyfus, a BNY Mellon company, addressing client investment needs using their suite of mutual fund and separately managed account products. Farmakis began his career in Equity Sales at Goldman Sachs. He graduated cum laude from Boston College with a B.S. in finance and marketing.
