    ROGERS, Conn., April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Rogers Corporation (NYSE:   ROG)
 today announced that they have received a Corporate Appreciation Award from
 Clemson University at Clemson's annual awards banquet held in South Carolina
 last week.  Ronald F. Robinson, Vice President of Market Development at
 Rogers, accepted the award on Rogers behalf.
     Selected by the faculty, the Corporate Appreciation Awards are presented
 to one or more companies, which over many years, have contributed
 significantly to the welfare of the Clemson Graphic Communications Program.
 The Clemson graphics program is best known for its applications orientation,
 in addition to extensive theoretical training, which provides top quality,
 hands-on, problem-solving learning experiences from design to final print.
     Rogers Corporation has worked with Clemson University over the past ten
 years in support of this program.  The Company supplies their R/bak(R)
 compressible plate mounting materials free-of-charge to the Clemson printing
 center.  Rogers personnel work closely with Clemson faculty and students to
 test new material offerings in a variety of printing applications.  R/bak is
 one of a number of Rogers specialty materials supplied into the printing and
 graphic arts industry.
