Roman Lesnau Named Director of Business Development, JWT North America

    NEW YORK, April 23 /PRNewswire Interactive News Release/ -- Bob Jeffrey,
 President of J. Walter Thompson North America, today announced that Roman
 Lesnau, 40, has been named Senior Partner, Director of Business Development
 for JWT North America, a new position.  Mr. Lesnau, a sixteen-year veteran of
 the agency, has served as Director of New Business for JWT Detroit since 1999.
     In his new role, effective immediately, Mr. Lesnau will spearhead business
 development, marketing and positioning efforts for the JWT brand in the
 region, working in cooperation with office managers and new business directors
 in Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and
 Toronto, Canada.  He will be headquartered in New York.
     JWT ranks as the second largest advertising network in the United States.
 The agency posted a strong new business performance in 2000, winning in excess
 of $300 million in net new billings in the U.S. alone.  Key account wins
 included: Sun Microsystems, KPMG, iPlanet, Spencer Stuart and Foster's Beer.
 Total U.S. billings rose to $4.7 billion, a 20 percent increase.
