rootlevel Raises Curtain on Revamped Web Site For Detroit's Premier Theatrical Organization: Nederlander

DETROIT, April 23 /PRNewswire Interactive News Release/ -- The curtain has
been raised on the newly renovated Nederlander Organization's Web site
 (www.nederlanderdetroit.com ), formerly hosted at fisherdetroit.com .
Blending digital images and information, theatergoers will find the new site
 easier to use.
Theatergoers can purchase season tickets for the 2001-02 Fisher Playgoer
Series with just one mouse click. Another mouse click will link theatergoers
to Ticketmaster to purchase individual tickets to Nederlander shows. Yet
another mouse click will generate a schedule for all shows that theater
patrons can print out from their computer. Other features on the site
include: directions; parking information and seating charts for the Fisher
 Theatre, Masonic Temple Theatre, Fox Theatre and Second City; special offers;
group sales information and links to special entertainment sites.
These new features also make it easier for Nederlander, which is
celebrating the Fisher Theatre's 40th anniversary of bringing world-class
productions to Detroit, to provide up-to-date information for theatergoers.
rootlevel built a behind-the-scenes administrative module that allows
Nederlander's staff to easily access and update information on the Web site.
When a show leaves town, it automatically drops off the Nederlander site, thus
 the site is always current.
"Functionality is currently the hottest development philosophy being used
on the Internet and the Nederlander site demonstrates the importance of Web
sites being geared to the user as well as the client," said John Lauer,
 rootlevel founder and CEO.
"We don't design Web sites; our job is to do the back-end development and
programming. But we were able to collaborate with Nederlander's advertising
agency of record -- Simons Michelson Zieve (SMZ) Advertising Inc. SMZ
designed the Web site that theatergoers will find easy to use and informative.
Nederlander will also find the site easy to update. That is important because
constant change is the nature of the entertainment business -- there's always
a new show coming to town."
The Nederlander Company LLC., based in Detroit, manages the Fisher and
Masonic Temple Theatres, as well as books plays and shows in the Detroit Opera
House, Second City and the Fox Theatre. It brings live Broadway and off-
Broadway productions, national musicals, plays and revues to the area.
rootlevel, a Web application development company headquartered in Detroit,
develops unique, highly sophisticated Web initiatives that change the way
 companies do business.
