Royal Celebrity Tours Names John Fox Senior Vice President, Industry Relations

    MIAMI, April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Royal Celebrity Tours, the premium land-
 tour company formed last year by Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (NYSE:   RCL), is
 expanding its growing Seattle-based operation.  Company President Craig Milan
 today named John Fox Senior Vice President, Industry Relations, assigning Fox
 responsibilities for government and community relations in the Northwest,
 Alaska and Hawaii.  Fox was formerly vice president, Government Relations, for
 the parent company.
     "John is well known and well respected in the Northwest and Alaska and
 will be invaluable as we launch Royal Celebrity Tours in Alaska," said Milan.
 "Ultimately, as we expand our land-tour operations globally, John's
 international experience will be a tremendous asset."
     A 14-year veteran of Royal Caribbean, Fox has overseen the corporation's
 state, national and international government affairs since joining the
 company.  He also managed the company's corporate outreach and charitable
 giving.  Prior to joining Royal Caribbean, Fox worked for the U.S. Senate; the
 law firm Troy, Malin & Pottinger; and the lobbying firm Alcalde & Faye.  An
 attorney, Fox specialized in the cruise industry, international security and
 transportation in his early legal career.
     Fox has held numerous community-leadership positions in Florida and the
 Northwest, including board appointments to The Beacon Council (Executive
 Committee), Banker's Club (past chairman), Jackson Memorial Foundation, 1999
 Super Bowl Host Committee (Executive Committee), Florida Sports Foundation,
 Florida Commission on Tourism, Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (Managing
 Committee), and International Council of Cruise Lines.  He also sits on the
 board of the Alaska Travel Industry Association and the Government and
 Community Affairs Committee of the Northwest Cruise Ship Association.
     Fox has received multiple awards and honors for his civic and charitable
 involvement, including recognition by the Easter Seals of Miami-Dade County,

     Fox will relocate to the Seattle area on June 1 to coincide with the

 world's largest glass-domed, double-decker railcars, which will service Royal
 Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises guests on Gulf of Alaska
 itineraries.
