RSA Security Software Provides Added Protection for OCIE Report and Document Image Management

Donnell Selects RSA BSAFE(R) Crypto-J Software to Enhance Privacy of Report

Data and Document Images Delivered Over the Internet

Apr 30, 2001, 01:00 ET from RSA Security Inc.

BEDFORD, Mass., April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- RSA Security Inc. (Nasdaq: RSAS)
announced today that Donnell Systems, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise
report management and document image management solutions, has incorporated
RSA BSAFE(R) Crypto-J software into its OCIE(R) product family. An acronym
for Online Computer Information Exchange, OCIE collects report data and
document images from anywhere within an enterprise. Information is
automatically indexed, archived, secured, and available for authorized users
to view, search, analyze, annotate, data mine, and extract. OCIE is
beneficial to the enterprise far beyond basic viewing and Web-based
distribution. It offers broad functionality that includes on-demand printing,
form overlay viewing and printing, ad-hoc reporting, and the ability to unlock
and mine data from legacy reporting systems for use in applications and
 databases.
Under the terms of the agreement, Donnell Systems has licensed RSA BSAFE
Crypto-J software to encrypt sensitive information between the OCIE Server and
Client desktop. As a result, OCIE customers can send and access report data
and document images securely over a LAN, WAN, intranet, extranet, or Internet
connection. This is designed to enable full access to archived documents from
remote sites without the need to establish expensive private networks.
"We selected RSA BSAFE software because it integrates seamlessly with our
OCIE product line and has earned industry-wide acceptance as an e-security
solution. Our strategic partnership with RSA Security helps us bring a
superior product to market faster and should trim our overall sales cycle,"
said Thomas White, chief technology officer at Donnell Systems.
"By entering into a strategic partnership with RSA Security, Donnell
Systems is able to provide strong security options for its customers who
choose OCIE to deliver report data and document images across the Internet,"
said Bill McQuaide, vice president of product marketing at RSA Security.
"This strategic partnership with Donnell further extends our market leadership
 in securing e-commerce applications."
The RSA BSAFE(R) line of security software is embedded in today's most
successful Internet applications, including Web browsers, wireless devices,
commerce servers, e-mail systems and virtual private network products. Built
to provide implementations of standards such as SSL, S/MIME, WTLS, IPSec and
PKCS, RSA BSAFE products can save developers time and risk in their
 development schedules.
