Saint-Gobain Calmar Names McKernan as President and CEO

    CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- John P. McKernan has
 been promoted to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of
 Saint-Gobain Calmar Inc., a leading worldwide manufacturer of non-aerosol
 dispensing and spraying systems.  He joined Saint-Gobain Calmar in 1996 as
 Executive Vice President and General Manager of the company's Cleaning and
 Chemical Products Division in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
     In his new position, McKernan will be based at Saint-Gobain Calmar
 headquarters in City of Industry, California.  He has a B.S. in plastics
 engineering from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, and is in the process
 of relocating to southern California.  McKernan is a former resident of
 Lawrence, Massachusetts.

 1,400 of whom are based in North America, with manufacturing facilities in
