 Company (NYSE:   SSP) will discuss first quarter 2001 operating results during a
 conference call Wednesday, April 11 at 10:30 a.m. EDT.
     Scripps will offer a live audio Web cast of the conference call. To access

 the "live Web cast" link at the top of the page. Listeners need Real Player G2

     A limited number of dial-in lines for the conference call will be
