SEAKR Announces Production Contract

    ENGLEWOOD, Colo., April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- SEAKR Engineering, Incorporated
 today announced that it has been selected by BAE SYSTEMS Controls of Johnson
 City, New York to supply products from its NV-VME Product Family for
 production use on the Core Integrated Processor (CIP) and the Video Integrated
 Processor (VIP) programs.  BAE SYSTEMS Controls will use SEAKR's high capacity
 NV-VME products in two configurations: The 2 Gigabyte capacity unit, called a
 Bulk Memory Module (BMM), will be installed into the CIP systems aboard the
 C-17 Globemaster III aircraft, performing numerous in-flight functions from
 load analysis to mission planning activities.  SEAKR's 6 Gigabyte BMM will
 store mapping and collision avoidance data to support the VIP Terrain
 Awareness Warning System (TAWS) mission.
     According to Randolph Twogood, Director of Military Electronics at SEAKR,
 "We will produce several hundred BMM units over the next 3 to 4 years.  The
 Air Force plans to forward-fit the VIP on all future C-17s and retrofit both
 the VIP and CIP on the aircraft built to date."  Although terms of the
 contract were not disclosed, SEAKR did state this award to be a significant
 multi-million dollar win for the NV-VME product line.  Twogood says, "SEAKR is

 line include a powerful 8 bit proprietary Error Detection And Correction
 (EDAC) algorithm, traditional memory mapping functions and optional power
 strobing circuits to allow powering down the flash memory devices when not
 actively engaged in a record, erase, or playback operation.  The NV-VME
 Product Family offers capacities ranging from 500 Mbytes to 12 Gbytes and
 delivery from 4 - 6 months after receipt of order.
