SFX Creates Independent Company For Basketball Representation; Arn Tellem Named President and CEO

    WASHINGTON, April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- SFX announced today it is creating an
 independent company, SFX Basketball Group, Inc., to focus exclusively on its
 basketball representation business.  The new company will operate as a wholly
 autonomous unit of SFX, in order to best service the needs of its clients,
 which include many of the NBA's top players.
     This announcement continues SFX's plan to operate its athlete
 representation businesses independently.  In March, SFX announced the creation
 of an independent baseball representation company, SFX Baseball Group, Inc.
     Arn Tellem, based in Los Angeles, has been named President and CEO of SFX
 Basketball Group, in addition to his position as Executive Vice President of
 the Baseball Group.  Curtis Polk will be Executive Vice President of the
 company, managing its Washington, DC office.  David Falk will serve as Founder
 -- SFX Basketball, with a focus on client management and marketing services.
