New Partnership Expands SGI's Access to U.S. Government Market

    MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- SGI Federal(TM), a
 wholly-owned subsidiary of SGI (NYSE:   SGI), today announced it has entered
 into an agreement with World Wide Technology Inc. (WWT) to sell SGI(TM)
 products and services offered on the General Services Administration (GSA)
 Federal Supply Schedule.
     WWT is a leader in providing comprehensive, Internet-based,
 business-to-business e-marketplaces for the buying and selling of information
 technology products and services. Under the agreement, WWT can now sell all
 SGI products and services to any GSA customer nationwide.
