Showtime Strikes Deal With AtomShockwave To Provide Innovative Programming for Showtime Next

    NEW YORK, and SAN FRANCISCO, April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Showtime Networks
 Inc. has licensed a package of up to 100 short films from AtomShockwave Corp.,
 a leading entertainment provider of quality short form entertainment.  The
 agreement will provide ground-breaking, youthful programming for SHOWTIME
 NEXT, a multiplex channel which launched March 1, 2001 and targets the tastes
 and sensibilities of Generation Y viewers ages 18-24.
     The short films from the award-winning catalogue of AtomShockwave's film
 and animation brand, AtomFilms will debut on SHOWTIME NEXT, later appearing on
 other Showtime Networks Inc. channels and services.  AtomFilms syndicates its
 content to multiple traditional and emerging channels, including television
 networks, major Web sites, technology companies and airlines.
