Shuffle Master and IGT's The Three Stooges(R) Video Game Approved in Nevada

    LAS VEGAS, April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Shuffle Master, Inc. (Nasdaq: SHFL)
 announced today that the Curly version of the Company's The Three Stooges(R)
 licensed video slot game, developed under the Shuffle Master/IGT Development
 and Distribution Agreement, has been approved for installation in Nevada.  The
 first placements will occur this week.  Gaming Laboratories, Inc. (GLI) is
 expected to approve the game within 30 days, with the New Jersey approval
 expected shortly thereafter.  Previously, Shuffle Master had stated that
 agreements and commitments for over 400 The Three Stooges machines had been
 secured.  The Moe and Larry versions of the games are expected to be submitted
 for approval in this calendar year.
