The daylong event took place at the historic Union League in Philadelphia. The balance of Siegfried's 450+ employees joined the 6th MY Journey™ Live Event via broadcast from multiple impressive venues nationwide.
Rob Siegfried, CEO & President, introduced the day's program outlining the Firm's higher purpose. Siegfried helps people unlock their own powerful individual leadership to experience exponential growth and abundance. "Leadership really starts with the individual. Dr. Nido Qubein, President of High Point University, nationally recognized author, speaker and leader, was the MY Journey™ keynote speaker and delivered a powerful presentation entitled "From Success to Significance." Dr. Qubein shared his life story and how he overcame many obstacles in order to achieve his goals. He challenged everyone to believe that out of adversity can emerge abundance. He spoke of the idea that there is no such thing as the leadership principle of slowly but surely, but rather leadership is learned slowly and cumulatively. Dr. Qubein also discussed the importance of relevance as it relates to being a leader. He stated that professionals can no longer compete with their strengths; instead they must compete with their differences in order to remain relevant.
The rest of the day's program consisted of topics such as Bigger Future and Entrepreneurial Leadership led by Rob Siegfried; staying Connected to the World led by Siegfried's Cindy Gee, CPA, Senior Vice President and CFO, and assessing expertise in Entrepreneurial Leadership led by Stephanie Scoleri, Market Associate and Lauren Heidt, Associate Director of Recruiting.
