Skal International Los Angeles Presents the Grand Canyon Challenge

    WHAT:      Skal International Los Angeles will treat selected teenagers of
 the Challengers Boys & Girls Club to a three-day trip, which will include
 stops at the Grand Canyon and Joshua Tree National Park.  Join us for the big
 send-off, as 13- to 16-year-old youths head on the bus and off to the Grand
 Canyon.  This community outreach program was arranged by Skal International
 Los Angeles in cooperation with the Challengers Boys & Girls Club.
     Challengers Boys & Girls Club is dedicated to enriching the lives of young
 people from disadvantaged circumstances by providing compelling programs led
 by positive adult role models.  Challengers' Board and staff are deeply
 committed to ensuring that urban children have access to quality programs,
 services and opportunities they may not otherwise experience.
     Skal is an international movement composed of men and women who hold
 managerial or other responsible positions in the travel and tourism industry.
 Presently, there are approximately 25,000 members in more than 500 clubs in
 85 countries.  Skal's objectives are to develop true friendship and common
 purpose among the members of the travel and tourist industry and, through
 tourism, to foster goodwill and mutual understanding among peoples of the
 world.
