Snapple Beverage Group Appoints Michael Sands Chief Marketing Officer

 Snapple Beverage Group (SBG) has announced the appointment of Michael Sands to
 the position of Chief Marketing Officer for Snapple Beverage Group.  Sands
 will have responsibility for the entire beverage portfolio, which includes
 Snapple, Mistic and Stewart's.
     Sands returns to SBG from Ben and Jerry's Homemade Inc. where he held the
 position of Chief Marketing Officer.  He is a Snapple veteran, having served
 as vice president of marketing for Snapple from 1997-1999.  Sands will report
 directly to Mike Weinstein, CEO, Snapple Beverage Group.
