Studios USA Signs Writer/Producer Samantha Corbin to Drama Development Deal

    WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Studios USA Programming
 has signed a drama development deal with writer/producer Samantha Corbin, it
 was announced today by Dan Pasternack, senior vice president, drama
 programming, Studios USA.

     "Samantha is one of the most gifted and promising writers working in
 series television.  We have followed her work for some time now and have been
 consistently impressed.  She has a special and unique voice coupled with an

     Effective immediately, Corbin will serve as a consultant on the Dick
 Wolf/NBC series "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."  Corbin's credits include
 most recently serving as supervising producer on the ABC series
 "Gideon's Crossing" and previously consulting producer on the ABC series
 "The Practice."  Corbin was also a writer on the hit NBC series "ER," joining
 as a staff writer, then later serving as executive story editor and then
 co-producer.
