Sun Life Financial declares quarterly shareholder dividend

    TORONTO, April 25 /PRNewswire/ - The Board of Directors of Sun Life
 Financial Services of Canada Inc. today declared a quarterly shareholder
 dividend of $0.12 per share on common shares of the Corporation, payable June
 30, 2001 to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 28, 2001.
     This is the third shareholder dividend declared by Sun Life Financial
 Services of Canada Inc. since completing its demutualization process and
 becoming a public company on March 23, 2000.
