 recently announced the appointment of Timothy P. Highland to senior vice
 president, advisor services.

     In this position, Highland will be responsible for new product development
 and the expansion of the technological capabilities of the existing products
 at Sun Life of Canada (U.S.) Distributors, Inc.
     Prior to joining Sun Life of Canada (U.S.) Distributors, Inc., Highland
 served as president for Strategic Asset Advisors, L.L.C. in Chicago.  Prior to
 that, he served as vice president/national sales manager of managed accounts
 for EVEREN Securities, Inc., in Chicago.
