Swissray Introduces ddRModulaire to European Market

Apr 12, 2001, 01:00 ET from Swissray International, Inc.

    ELMSFORD, N.Y., April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Swissray International, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: SRMI) continued to build international market interest in
direct digital Radiography ddR with a strong showing at last month's European
Congress of Radiology (ECR) exhibition in Vienna.
Swissray's new ddRModulaire was exhibited for the first time outside North
America and was well received. This new system offers all the imaging
capability of the ddRMulti-System at a lower price point and with features
that are particularly advantageous to lower volume facilities including
 outpatient clinics.
Swissray attracted potential buyers with a ddaRt application show that
demonstrated both the art and science of ddR. This presentation effectively
emphasized the important advantages of Swissray ddR -- ergonomics,
user-friendliness, and patient comfort -- as an art form that compliments the
 science of digital imaging.
Ruedi G. Laupper, Swissray Chairman, President and CEO said: "Many
potential new business opportunities were identified at ECR 2001. As a result
of our ECR exhibit one year ago, Swissray received international orders for
44 ddR systems. This year's ECR exhibit will help us build on that success and
reinforce our efforts to build a global market presence."

     About Swissray International
Swissray is the pioneer and worldwide leader in the design, manufacturing
and marketing of proprietary state of the art ddR technology. This new
technology provides high quality radiographic images in seconds and at a lower
cost than conventional radiography because, among other factors, film and
 chemical processing are not required.
Swissray has received orders for more than 135 ddR systems in such diverse
markets as the USA, Sweden, Norway, The Netherlands, Germany, Venezuela,
Poland, Romania, Greece, Italy, Israel, Taiwan and Switzerland. For more
