 -- tAA, Inc., also known as The Amanda Company, a private company
 headquartered in San Juan Capistrano, Calif., (http://www.taa.com), and a
 leading supplier of call processing software and systems for industry-standard
 PC platforms, today announced that it has named Jose M. Candia, a 20-year
 executive in the telecommunications industry, as President and Chief Operating
 Officer.
     Pen Interconnect, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board:   PENC), Santa Ana, Calif.,
 recently announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all
 the outstanding shares of tAA, Inc. subject to approval by Pen Interconnect
 shareholders of an increase in the number of common shares outstanding,
 according to Stephen Fryer, Pen Interconnect Chairman.
     "Mr. Candia's accomplishments in sales, manufacturing and marketing are
 numerous and we are pleased that such a distinguished executive has joined the
 tAA team," said David Woo, tAA Chairman.
     Most recently Mr. Candia was Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations
 for Centrecom.com, Costa Mesa, Calif., where he was instrumental in raising
 significant capital for the firm.  Mr. Candia also integrated key platforms,
 such as PSTN, VolP, Cicso, Sun and Ericsson, into Centrecom.com.
     Mr. Candia as Director of Sales for Business and Government for L.A.
 Cellular/AT&T Wireless assisted in growing revenue for the company from
 $30 million annually to $350 million in the B2B division, the largest in the
 industry.  He also built for AT&T the infrastructure for its B2B segment
 nationwide.  Mr. Candia managed a sales organization exceeding 350 people and
 a customer care unit with almost 800 people.
     As Western Regional Vice President for Intercom/Metra company, Mr. Candia
 significantly increased sales and launched the ISDN/multimedia switch for
 Fujitsu.  He also trained the sales force as Western Regional Manager for
 United Technologies Communications, and was a manager in New Jersey for
 Warner-Lambert International, a pharmaceutical company.
     Mr. Candia is a graduate of the Instituto Superior de Administracion y
 Productivided in Lima, Peru, and has also taken graduate courses in finance
 and marketing at the University of Southern California and undergraduate
 courses at Colorado University.
     Amanda, tAA's principal software product, is a client server telephony
 enabled software solution optimized for Microsoft's Windows operating systems.
 Utilizing the worldwide switched public telephone network and both Intranet
