 Pen Interconnect, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board:   PENC), announced today that an
 audit of tAA, Inc., also known as The Amanda Company, a private company
 headquartered in San Juan Capistrano, Calif., (http://www.taa.com), must be
 completed before Pen Interconnect can acquire all the outstanding shares of
 tAA.   The Amanda Company is a leading supplier of call processing software
 and systems for industry-standard PC platforms.

 completed as efficiently and as soon as possible," said David Woo, tAA CEO.
 "During this period of at least 30 days we will work closely with Pen
 Interconnect management toward expanding our sales and products and to ensure
