NEW YORK, April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Talksurgery, the leading online
supplier of information on plastic surgery, is pleased to announce its support
 of Sephora's Operation Smile Campaign.
In January 2001, Sephora, the world's largest beauty retailer, unveiled
the Sephora Lip Baume Operation Smile Campaign. All of the net proceeds from
Sephora's Lip Baume, which retails for $5, will be donated to Operation Smile.
Operation Smile is a leading humanitarian and medical relief organization
dedicated to helping improve the health and lives of children and young adults
around the world. Its medical volunteers provide the surgery and supplies
needed to repair cleft lips, cleft palates, burns, tumors and other birth
defects to underprivileged children particularly in underdeveloped countries.
Says Eimile Robertson, of Talksurgery: "Talksurgery has long been seeking
out a charity that could benefit from our target user base of those interested
in plastic surgery. With the amount of people coming to our site who are
affected by cleft palate and other deformities, we felt that we could
effectively help funnel dollars to this very worthy campaign.
Says Joe Bierman, VP of Marketing, Sephora, "Operation Smile is an
organization that truly changes the lives of children and their families.
Sephora is thrilled to help these children look and feel beautiful."
