Vendors of Linux-Based Thin Clients Start to Show Devices With Embedded
Support for Tarantella at NetWorld+Interop, Las Vegas

SANTA CRUZ, Calif., May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Tarantella, Inc., (Nasdaq: TTLA), today launched a native code component designed for embedding in Linux based Internet appliances and network devices. The client code is remarkably simple to use and can also be of use in client environments where browser usage in not permitted or desired. Terminal vendors can gain access to the code for embedding into their device through free membership in the Tarantella Technology Alliance Group (TAG), which was also launched today. A version of the embedded client for the Nokia 9210 communicator was announced and demonstrated at CeBIT and will be available later this year when Nokia begins shipping the device.
