Tardif Named Communication Manager for Military Engines at Pratt & Whitney

    EAST HARTFORD, Conn., April 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Laurie Tardif has been
 named communications manager for Pratt & Whitney's Military Engines unit,
 responsible for media relations and employee communications; as well as
 advertising and other customer communications. She reports to Stephen N.
 Finger, president-military engines.

 as well as with armed forces around the world," Finger said in announcing
 Tardif's appointment. "Laurie understands the unique requirements of our

     Before joining Pratt & Whitney, Tardif was vice president and a partner in
 Paul T. Glover Consultants, a Connecticut aerospace and defense consulting
 firm. Prior to that, she spent 10 years at the Chandler Evans division of
 BFGoodrich Aerospace. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, Television and
 Motion Pictures from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an
 MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
