TD Bank Names Leadership Team for Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. and MIAMI and JACKSONVILLE, Fla., March 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank®, has announced its leadership team for its markets in the Sunshine State. The team will be led by Kevin Gillen, Regional President for the bank's Florida market. The bank's lending professionals are local bankers making local loans, and they establish customer relationships focusing on service and the delivery of individualized financing solutions.

Cindy Stover has been named Market President for the newly formed North Florida market.   She will be responsible for the commercial, government and community banking business for the market, which includes the Northwest, Northeast, North Central and Mid-North regions. Stover joined Mercantile Bank in 2000 as the Northeast Florida Market President and has over 27 years in banking experience. She is involved in many community organizations.

Ernie Diaz has been named Market President for the South Florida market, which includes the Palm Beach, Miami/Dade and Broward regions. He will lead the banks commercial banking business including government and community banking for the southern areas. Diaz joined Mercantile Bank in 2007 and most recently served as President for Mercantile Bank. Diaz has over 27 years in the banking industry and is involved in numerous community organizations.

Brian Ziemba is the Market President for the Central Florida Market, which includes the Heartland, Orlando, and Treasure Coast regions. Ziemba joined TD Bank in 2005 and has held several management positions throughout the bank. He is also responsible for overseeing commercial lending, government and community banking for the region. A seasoned executive, Brian has 25 years of banking experience

Ellen Elia has been appointed Senior Vice President Retail Banking for the Central Florida market. She was mostly recently Senior Vice President of Retail for TD Bank's South Florida region and will now oversee both. Elia will be responsible for retail banking sales and service to ensure the stores provide a legendary WOW! service.  She joined TD Bank in 1998 and has more than 20 years of banking experience.

Kimberly Hazelton has been appointed Senior Vice President Retail Banking for the North Florida market.  Hazelton is responsible for leading retail banking sales and service in the area. She has held a wide range of retail banking management positions during her four year career at Mercantile Bank. Previously she worked at Fifth Third Bank as Regional Sales Manager. She also will be responsible for helping to build the unique retail- and customer-focused culture that differentiates TD Bank. Hazelton has over 25 years in the banking industry.
