The event will be a live interactive discussion on student attitudes toward math and science education on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 12:00 Eastern time and is produced by Time Warner Cable, Vokle and X-UP, a production company specializing in the youth market. The town hall meeting will connect U.S. students with students from around the world and with international science and technology leaders, including astronaut Sally Ride, inventor Dean Kamen, and Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage of Discovery Channel's "MythBusters."
