CHICAGO, April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Tetra Pak is celebrating Soy Month in
style this year. The global leader in liquid food processing and packaging,
has announced that it is a sponsor of Soy Matters(TM), a six-part documentary
series about soy products and their nutritional, medicinal and economic
importance to today's society. The show is expected to be broadcast starting
Spring 2001, on PBS stations in 150 U.S. television markets nationwide.
"Tetra Pak is excited about its involvement in Soy Matters," states Andrew
Dun, vice president strategic business development at Tetra Pak. "Our
involvement in the program demonstrates Tetra Pak's knowledge leadership in
the aseptic and soy markets. As the soy industry continues to grow, I look
forward to Tetra Pak providing innovative solutions to this market."
Soy Matters consists of six half-hour segments. The informational series
features "soylutions" to healthy eating. The program shows soy-interested
consumers how to incorporate soy products into recipes designed for today's
hectic and fast paced lifestyles. Interviews with Tetra Pak spokespersons will
appear in selected segments of the series.
The six segments address diverse topics. NOT just a mix and stir cooking
series, Soy Matters goes one step farther by teaching consumers about the
history, agriculture, and the health and nutritional benefits of soy.
Produced to go where no cooking show has gone before, the series will include:

     * Cooking segments starring an American family in search of solutions
       for healthier eating.
     * Interviews with various industry experts.
     * On-location footage of places/establishments related to soy.
     * Presentation of "Soyfacts" (trivia)
     * Interviews with Tetra Pak spokespersons.

Soy Matters will be hosted by Sherry Granader, a nationally recognized
speaker, nutritionalist, body builder and the author of "The Eat Right, Feel
Good, Lose Weight, Have Fun, Cook Book."
Soy Month is April 2001. Tetra Pak's involvement in the series is just
one more example of how Tetra Pak represents "More than the package(TM)."
