The Founder of The Underground Shopper Now Offers Bigger Better Bargains

Apr 24, 2001, 01:00 ET from Shopping Business, Inc.

DALLAS, April 24 /PRNewswire Interactive News Release/ -- The following
was released today by Shopping Business, Inc.:

Sue Goldstein, founder of The Underground Shopper series, announces she
has severed all ties with Digital Information and Virtual Access, Inc.
On Wednesday, April 4, 2001, in a proceeding before Judge Godby, Diva
agreed to the entry of a final judgment against it for $515,000.00 and
$20,000.00 in attorneys' fees thus ending a contractual dispute with Diva,
purchaser of Goldstein's former company, Money Business, Inc.
Then on Thursday, April 12, Diva and its subsidiaries, "apparently to
thwart the half-million dollar plus agreed judgment, filed for Chapter 11
protection from creditors delaying Goldstein's ability to execute on that
judgment," says her attorney, Frank Wright of Winstead, Sechrist & Minnick,
 P.C.
"I thought there was finally closure to this painful period in my life. I
wouldn't say I was victorious, but at least the courts said I won, in theory.
But with the bankruptcy filing, there's further evidence I may wind up with
 nothing," adds Goldstein.
For the past thirty years, Sue Goldstein was The Underground Shopper.
Today she is starting over as The "Diva of Discounts" with her new book Bigger
Better Bargains, a web site www.biggerbetterbargains.com, and a radio call-in
show heard exclusively on Talk Radio 570, KLIF, Saturdays 2-4.
"We are beyond excited to have Sue Goldstein join the award-winning
weekend line-up on KLIF," says Lon Bason, General Manager. "They say 'fishin'
ain't catchin' and that shopping isn't buying' but I know that our listeners
will catch every minute of Sue Goldstein's Diva of Discounts Show."
Sue recently appeared on the national TV show Extra! with Leeza Gibbons on
 KXAS-TV NBC, Channel 5.
"Returning to what I do best, I'm back to writing books, doing talk shows,
TV segments and interacting with audiences on the web. It is what I love,"
 said Goldstein.
After 70 best-selling books on smart shopping, Goldstein is also co-
authoring a national book titled "Two Old Broads Who Love To Shop," with Tammy
Faye Bakker. "It's destined to be huge," said their agent, Jane Dystel of
Dystel Literary Management in New York City.
On the biggerbetterbargains web site, you'll see money-saving tips and
opportunities to shop online for fabulous buys at 40-60 percent off with her
e-commerce partner, the former president of The Horchow Collection, John
Himmelfarb of Badge Marketing. For more information, log on to her web site,
