RICHMOND, Va., Aug. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- CROC, rated by IT market analysts IDC as one of the top IT / UC integrators in Russia, has been selected by the Global Presence Alliance to be the exclusive member for the World's largest country.

The GPA board of directors recognized that Russia is a strategic market for many global enterprises, but also a vast territory with complex business practices. Selecting an experienced and capable trusted partner was critical to success. CROC was selected not only because of its depth of knowledge and technical ability but also because of its transparency and commitment to customer value.

"CROC's partnership with Global Presence Alliance is an additional advantage. International best practices in project management, knowledge of local technology trends, cultural specifics, and market changes will allow us to promptly and successfully complete projects in Russia both for domestic customers and a great number of CROC's global customers," remarked Boris Bobrovnikov, Director General, CROC.

"Although entering into the alliance was not easy, I was sure that we would win since many of our audiovisual suite, video conferencing and UC projects were unique due to the use of the most innovative solutions available," said Alexey Volkov, Deputy Director General and Head of AV Systems, CROC.

CROC is well known for delivering landmark audiovisual solutions such as the World Trade Center, Moscow Railways and Polycom's executive experience center in Paveletskaya Plaza. CROC has successfully completed over 1,700 customer projects with its specialists holding over 280 certificates from leading AV & UC platforms such as Cisco Systems, Polycom, Microsoft, Extron, Crestron, Christie Digital, Vidyo, and AMX by Harman.

"It is very important for us to have a member from Russia—a country with great market potential. We are convinced that CROC's rich experience in design and deployment of complex audiovisual and unified communications solutions will be helpful for our customers and our members across the globe," said Byron Tarry, President, GPA.
