WASHINGTON, April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The Law Office of Mark McNair
announced that it has filed a securities class action lawsuit against Adaptive
Broadband Corporation (Nasdaq: ADAP). The complaint is on behalf of
shareholders who purchased the stock between August 11, 2000 and
 March 14, 2001.
The complaint alleges Adaptive Broadband and two of its top officers of
defrauding investors by issuing false and misleading statements about the
 Company's financial condition
Specifically, on March 15, 2001, the company said that the $4 million in
revenues "should not have been recognized" and that it expected to reduce its
quarterly revenue by that amount. The Company also indicated that it had
begun an investigation into whether any other questionable sales had been
booked and, if so, what further actions it should take. Following the
announcement, Adaptive Broadband stock fell to $1.47 a share -- more than 95%
off the Class Period-high of $33.125 a share.
