BURBANK, Calif., April 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The Living End, one of the most
phenomenally successful groups in Australian musical history, are poised to
bring their incendiary brand of authentic rock 'n roll to the U.S. with a
brilliant new album and a string of concert dates beginning in May.
The trio's new Reprise Records release, Roll On, featuring the single of
the same name, was released late last month and has already racked up a lion's
share of ecstatic reviews. A four-star rave in Rolling Stone Magazine
enthuses, "The Living End ... stomp all over the boundaries between punk,
reggae, rockabilly and plain old rock 'n roll -- and it still sounds like a
 revelation ... "
Aside from a series of select west coast appearances in May (see attached
dates), The Living End are also slated for an appearance this week on The Late
Show With David Letterman (April 13th). The band previously made their US
national television debut on Late Night With Conan O'Brien on March 20th.
Also in the works, a surprise announcement that will team the group with
another top band on a coast-to-coast North American tour this summer.
Additionally, The Living End plan to spend two weeks with their punk brethren
 on this summer's Warped tour.
Along with kudos from Rolling Stone, The Living End has garnered
near-unanimous critical praise since the release of Roll On. Among the many
 accolades:

-- Spin Magazine's "On The Verge: Ten For 2001" picks: "The Living End ...
just want to be true to their brand of AC/DC-weaned Pistols-pop ... "

-- Time Out New York called the single "Roll On", "foot-stomping,
 head-banging, jump-up-and-down-and-break-something number."

-- Alternative Press called The Living End, "Three bandmates standing
shoulder to shoulder in pursuit of exactness and impact -- and hooks you
couldn't carve out of your melon if you tried."

Stay tuned. The Living End stateside steamroller is just getting warmed
 up.

5/10 San Diego, CA Caine's Ballroom
