Apr 10, 2001, 01:00 ET from The Women's Care Network

MCLEAN, Va., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The Women's Care Network
today announced a license agreement with Informed Health Decisions,
Inc. (IHD) for use of the company's comprehensive patient care
application modules developed for menopause, osteoporosis and
pregnancy, as well as osteoarthritis and lower back pain. Informed
Health Decisions' proprietary healthcare programs will complement those
under development by The Women's Care Network.
"This agreement is an important step toward our goal of delivering
physician-centered, individualized healthcare solutions to women," said
William Hagstrom, chairman and chief executive officer and co-founder
 of The Women's Care Network.
The Informed Health Decisions' patient care application modules
include individual health profiling, risk assessment tools, clinical
guidelines for each specific disease, patient education reports and
 physician counseling programs.
"These modules were developed with the assistance of leading
clinical experts and are recognized for their capability to address a
condition or disease throughout the full continuum of the care
process," said Hagstrom. "Several of these modules have been validated
in a variety of care settings, including Harvard Pilgrim HealthCare,
and were found to improve the health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Our access to these modules will allow The Women's Care Network to
accelerate its progress by addressing more than 60 percent of the
patient conditions seen by ObGyn physicians."
The Women's Care Network will integrate these IHD programs into its
Web-based applications using a proprietary patient relationship
management program (PRM). The use of care modules will result in more
efficient physician and patient interaction, resulting in increased
physician productivity and improved patient satisfaction.

The Women's Care Network is a development-stage Company, creating a
comprehensive suite of Web-enabled clinical information management
tools for ObGyns to improve productivity, profitability and patient
satisfaction while delivering personalized health solutions to women at
their point-of-need. William Hagstrom and Mark Dimitroff, president and
chief operating officer, are the co-founders of The Women's Care
Network. They have successfully developed two start-up specialty
healthcare businesses, including UroCor, which transitioned from
 private to public companies.

Informed Health Decisions, Inc. is an independent disease
management company based in New Jersey, which evolved from Informed
Health Solutions, Inc., a previous joint venture between Wyeth-Ayerst
 Laboratories and Merck-Medco.
