NEW YORK, April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- As corporate America focuses on
entertainment marketing, three industry veterans, Tom Ross, John Cossette and
Tim Swift have formed BOUNCE Event Marketing (http//www.bounce-em.com). BOUNCE
Event Marketing is a highly-focused entertainment-driven event marketing and
production company, offering several decades of sophisticated production
credentials to the corporate marketing industry. Based in Los Angeles and New
York, BOUNCE was created in part to capitalize on the growing demand for
superior live event marketing and production needs of major corporations. The
announcement was made today by the trio.
Stated Swift: "The formation of BOUNCE Event Marketing, with such experts
as Tom Ross and John Cossette, is a natural response to the evolution of the
corporate marketing industry. Companies have significantly increased their
spending on B-2-B and B-2-C events. In addition, more companies want to
interact with their customers in real time. Large events are no longer loss
leaders, but instead are rapidly becoming cornerstones of product marketing
strategies." Added Swift: "We anticipate working closely with ad agencies,
public relations firms and other marketing-oriented companies. This creates an
organic approach of combining advertising, public relations and event
 marketing."
Stated Ross: "With BOUNCE Event Marketing, we can turn the corner into a
new century of opportunity in niche marketing. Now, more than ever, I think we
can create stellar media experiences in a holistic manner that will generate a
greater awareness of both artists and products."
Stated Cossette: "After years of working with corporate clients and
successful marketing companies, we have noticed the need for sophisticated
production and high-concept solutions to the needs of corporate events. BOUNCE
Event marketing is a company uniquely qualified to meet these needs."
Ross is a veteran agent who founded and spent the past fifteen years at
the helm of Creative Artists Agency's music and personal appearance department
before departing in 1999. During his years as an agent, he established and
maintained the careers of numerous performers including AC/DC, Bette Midler,
Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton Crosby, Stills & Nash, Counting Crows, Fleetwood Mac,
Janet Jackson, Jefferson Airplane, Rod Stewart and ZZ Top, to name a few. In
addition, Ross has proven to be a leader in combining talent with corporate
sponsorships such as Eric Clapton with Lexus, and LeAnn Rimes for Samsung.
Cossette has been a producer of The Grammy Awards for the past 10 years
and was an instrumental force behind the production concept of The Latin
Grammys. Cossette has produced such high-caliber television specials as the
Grand Re-Opening of Radio City Music Hall, Celine Dion's Christmas Special and
The Newsweek American Achievement Awards. He also produced "Central Park in
Blue" for the launch of American Express' Blue card. Along with Tim Swift,
Cossette produced the launch event for Microsoft's Windows 2000 and a 17-night
concert series for AT&T during the 1996 Summer Olympic Gamers in Atlanta,
 Georgia.
Swift has specialized in corporate events for the last two decades. He has
worked with such legendary producers Gary Smith, Dwight Hemion, Pierre
Cossette and, in 1994, became a founding partner in Merv Griffin Productions.
Swift has produced product launches and corporate events for Kodak, KFC, AT&T,
Charles Schwab and Lexus. Most recently, Swift was President and CEO of the
Internet streaming media company, TV on the Web.
