Tic Tac® Mints Challenges Fans To Shake Things Up In 2013 With Launch Of The Tic Tac "Shake It Up® Pledge" Contest

SOMERSET, N.J., Feb. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Tic Tac® mints, known for its iconic shape and unique packaging, will continue to help consumers shake things up in 2013 with the launch of the Tic Tac "Shake It Up® Pledge" Contest, a contest that challenges fans to both tell and show the brand how they pledge to shake things up by breaking from the mundane and doing the unexpected for a chance to win $10,000*. The Tic Tac "Shake It Up® Pledge" Contest is an extension of the brand's Shake It Up® campaign, which seeks to encourage consumers to look at every day in a fresh way by making changes to their daily routines.

To enter the Tic Tac "Shake It Up® Pledge" Contest, fans can visit Facebook.com/TicTacUSA between February 21 and April 19, 2013 and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration form. Once registered, entrants must log in to their personal Twitter account and (i) Tweet a message that includes and completes the phrase "I pledge to shake things up by [. . .]" and ends with the hashtag #SIUPledge and (ii) attach to the Tweet an original photo which includes entrant and provides a visual representation of the pledge.  The Tic Tac® brand will award $10,000* to the entrant who receives the highest score based on the judging criteria. 

Tic Tac® mints will also be encouraging fans to shake things up throughout 2013 by providing unique experiences at upcoming events in Austin, TX and New York, NY, where fans will get the chance to sample new Cinnamon Spice Tic Tac® mints. Launched in January 2013, Cinnamon Spice Tic Tac® mints are delightfully sweet and spicy (just a little!) sure to satisfy any cinnamon lover's taste buds, and are available now at select convenience stores.
