Agreement Includes the Cleveland Agora Theater and Ballroom, The Newport Music

Hall & PromoWest Pavilion (Opening September 16, 2001) in Columbus

    CLEVELAND and COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Ticketmaster
 (Nasdaq: TMCS), the leading ticketing and access company, today announced the
 signing of a multi-year ticketing agreement with PromoWest.  As part of the
 agreement, Ticketmaster will continue to sell and distribute tickets to all
 PromoWest owned and operated venues including the Cleveland Agora Theater and
 Ballroom, Columbus' Newport Music Hall and PromoWest Pavilion (opening
 September 16, 2001).  The Pavilion, a joint venture between PromoWest and
 Nationwide Insurance, is a $5.5 million multi-purpose concert facility that
 will combine state of the art sound and lighting systems with the versatility
 of indoor or outdoor performances for audiences ranging from 500 to
 4,000 people.
