Titan Elects DeMarco COO; Sopp Named CFO

    SAN DIEGO, April 23 /PRNewswire Interactive News Release/ -- The Titan
 Corporation (NYSE:   TTN) announced today that its Executive Vice President Eric
 M. DeMarco has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of The Titan
 Corporation, and Mark W. Sopp has been elected Senior Vice President and Chief
 Financial Officer.

     DeMarco, who joined Titan in 1997, was previously the company's Executive

 strategy to create, build and launch technology-based companies.  DeMarco also
