CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- TMXinteractive, the leading
provider of TV style e-mail marketing campaigns, announced today the
appointment of three key members to its executive management team. Mary Ellen
Cronk joins TMXinteractive as its new Chief Financial Officer. Glenn Elias
and Susan Murphy sign on as the company's Vice President of Client Services
and Vice President of Marketing, respectively.
"TMX's rapid emergence as a national player in the growing rich media
industry requires us to build a high-quality management team to maintain our
strategic, creative and customer service edge," says Blair Lyon,
TMXinteractive's president and CEO. "Our ability to attract management of
this caliber dramatically accelerates the growth trajectory of TMX as we
continue to pioneer our industry and lead the digital marketing revolution."
The new hires are part of an aggressive national expansion program --
fueled by a recent equity investment of $15 million -- that will see TMX open
eight offices in major cities throughout the country. The additions
supplement TMXinteractive's executive team, which recently received the Ben
Franklin Emerging Business Award for Best Management Team.
With 17 years of experience as a senior industry and financial analyst,
Mary Ellen Cronk brings to TMX a financial background in technology,
healthcare, manufacturing and retailing. Most recently, as an independent
financial advisor, Cronk helped raise over $1 billion for growing firms. Her
consulting assignments included providing strategic advice, preparing business
plans and offering memoranda, investor presentations and financial forecasts.
Prior to her work as a consultant, Cronk was a Vice President of J.P. Morgan
in New York for 10 years, where she advised a wide variety of Fortune 500
companies on valuations, mergers and acquisitions, private placements, and
initial public offerings. Cronk holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from
Stern's Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Business Administration from
Georgetown University. Cronk is also a Board Member of the Entrepreneur's
 Forum of Greater Philadelphia.
Glenn Elias, TMX's new Vice President of Client Services, comes on board
after serving for six years in various management positions with Brightware,
the leading supplier of eCustomer assistance software, culminating with his
promotion to Senior Consultant. While with Brightware, Elias founded the
Product Services Applications Group, where he and his team introduced and
delivered Brightware application products to Global 1000 companies. Prior to
joining Brightware, Elias was a senior consultant with Inference Corporations,
and has served as a Senior Member of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of
the General Electric Aerospace Advanced Technology Labs. Early in his career,
Elias was a member of the Westinghouse Research and Development Center's Human
Sciences Laboratory where he concentrated on intelligent system development,
applied cognitive psychology and human factors engineering. He holds a B.S.
degree in Cognitive Psychology with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence
 from Carnegie-Mellon University.
Susan Murphy brings over 14 years of progressive management experience to
TMX. With an extensive background in marketing, product development and
operations management, Murphy has applied her on- and offline experience and
expertise to the fields of education, financial and consumer products. Before
joining TMX, she was the Vice President of Corporate Marketing at
AroundCampus, Inc., a leading provider of online and offline marketing
resources for collegiate merchants. Murphy was previously a Vice President of
Product Development and Founder of Electric SchoolHouse, Inc., an online
education portal, where she oversaw all aspects of product, content and
technical development. Prior to that, Murphy was Manager of Education Sales
and Marketing for Comcast Commercial Online, where she developed high
bandwidth products, programs and content for K-12 schools, higher education
and libraries. Before Comcast, Murphy was responsible for product development
of Internet, PC and telephone banking applications for the MAC ATM network,
now owned by Concord EFS. Her marketing and product development skills are
built on an eight-year foundation of service for several financial
institutions including First Union, Bank of America and the Student Loan
Marketing Association. She holds an M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore
and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Delaware.
