Touchstone Investments Expands Institutional Business Strategy

Adds Team Member, Share Classes, Revised Fee Structure to Funds

CINCINNATI, Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Touchstone Investments is pleased to announce the addition of Touchstone Vice President Bruce Palm to its Institutional Business Development Division, as well as enhancements to its institutional product line to include more pricing options for the institutional investor.

Mr. Palm will now partner with Vice Presidents Steve Owen and Brandon Baker to distribute Touchstone mutual funds to institutional investors, such as Turnkey Asset Management Programs (TAMP), Registered Investment Advisors (RIA), Private Bank and Wealth Management Programs, Consultants, and 401(k) Programs throughout the United States.

Mr. Palm joined Touchstone in 2007 and has thirteen years of financial services experience. He was previously employed by Riversource Investments, RBC Capital Markets, American Express Financial Advisors, and John G. Kinnard & Co. Prior to that, he was an Infantryman in the United States Army. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota and holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses.

In addition, Touchstone has enhanced its product line to include:

  • A New Institutional Share Class. As of 2/2/09, Institutional shares are available through the Touchstone Mid Cap Fund and Touchstone Growth Opportunities Fund. The share class features a minimum initial investment of $500,000.
  • New Share Classes and Lower Total Expense Ratios on Touchstone Growth Opportunities Fund. As of 2/2/09, Institutional and Y share classes are available through the Touchstone Growth Opportunities Fund. In addition, the expense ratios on the Fund's A and C share classes have been reduced. The Fund, sub-advised by Westfield Capital Management, seeks long-term capital appreciation by utilizing an all-cap growth strategy.
  • Y Share Class Now Available On Nine Touchstone Funds With Lower Minimum Initial Investment Requirements. As of 2/2/09, Y share classes are available through nine Touchstone mutual funds. In addition, the minimum initial investment has been reduced. Touchstone's Y share class is a no-load, no-service fee investment option for use in fee-based platforms and retirement plans.
