    RALEIGH-DURHAM, N.C., April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Transoft International
announces the opening of Transoft Asia-Pacific Pty Ltd. located in Australia
with sales offices in Brisbane, and a technical support office opening in
Sydney. Transoft's Currency Management product OptiCa$h is further
strengthened in the region after several years of successful implementations.
Tony Rowe, General Manager of Transoft Asia-Pacific, says: "With already six
customers in the region and plenty of current activity, Transoft early on
identified the need to be represented locally. I am pleased to be
representing this solid cash management offering into a market where it is
 already proven."
OptiCa$h is the world's leading software application in cost optimization
within ATM, branch and vault networks. By balancing all the cost components
of cash replenishments using predicted cash usage patterns, OptiCa$h is able
to increase availability while significantly decreasing the cost of the
 network.
OptiCa$h is based on the latest statistical technologies available, runs
on any platform from Windows to Mainframes and ensures adaptation to changing
 business environments.
Transoft International, Inc. is the worldwide leader in sophisticated
Currency Management systems, producing daily cost-optimized recommendations
for cash flow and transport patterns for 30,000+ ATMs and branches on six
continents. As a software company dedicated to minimizing cash network costs
using the latest tools available, Transoft remains the sole true software
vendor globally focused on R&D in this area. "Currency Management is all we
do, so we better be good," adds Edgar Rojas, OptiCa$h Product Manager visiting
Australia for the event. "No product has the maturity in algorithms and
resulting savings like OptiCa$h. We pioneered this science and have spent a
decade perfecting it. The competitors entering and leaving the industry
constantly have trouble coming close because experiences and fine-tuning
exercises take time and cannot be rushed."
"Recent changes to the operations of the Reserve Bank of Australia makes
OptiCa$h even more essential for banks than before -- now true cost
optimization and cash logistics management goes straight to the bottom line
for every Australian institution," adds Bo H. Holmgreen, President & CEO,
currently in Australia visiting customers. "It is an exciting time for
Transoft in this part of the world, as our decade of global expertise is
already recognized here, and we are assisting aggressive customers with the
upcoming changes in the region. Through our global alliances with NCR and
Brinks, and our local relationship with the largest Australian carrier,
Armaguard, the OptiCa$h is available both as product and outsourced service."
