National lawn care company is seeking energetic employees to join their thriving organization

MEMPHIS, Tenn., March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- While the uncertainty of today's economic conditions has forced many companies nationwide to reduce their workforce and conduct mass layoffs, some companies are looking to hire aggressively through second quarter. TruGreen, the nation's largest lawn care services provider, has announced plans to increase its workforce and hire about 2,300 new full-time employees as the company enters its peak season. Recruiting efforts are in high swing as TruGreen hosts career fairs and group-recruiting orientation sessions in branches nationwide.

"Despite the current economic uncertainties, Americans continue to understand the importance of healthy, green lawns and see the value in a professional lawn care service from an experienced and trusted provider," said Tim Ehrhart, TruGreen's vice president of sales. "At TruGreen, we're committed to investing in our company to continue to promote growth and innovation in the industry."

Ehrhart explains that TruGreen believes, even in tough economic times, homeowners still see the need for maintaining their lawns. "We've been in the business of helping homeowners to enjoy healthy, lush, green lawns for over three decades. We understand that when homeowners make plans to reduce spending, many look for ways to enjoy more cost-effective entertainment options in their own backyard. A plush and healthy lawn helps to create an inviting outdoor living room that offers a great place for family and friends to spend time together."
