    NEW YORK, April 2 /PRNewswire Interactive News Release/ -- GCI Group, one
 of the world's largest public relations firms, has hired Martin Alintuck to be
 president of its San Francisco office, and promoted Bob Wynne, a senior leader
 in the San Francisco office, to head GCI's North American Corporate Practice.
     GCI/San Francisco is ranked fifth in the San Francisco market with more
 than $13 million in fee reported for 2000.
     Alintuck joins GCI from Burson-Marsteller, where he held several senior
 positions, including west coast corporate practice leader, managing director
 of B-M/Tokyo and managing director of B-M/Shanghai.  He is the winner of six
 awards for crisis communication, special events and media/community relations,
 and has extensive communications/pr experience in business-to-business,
 business-to-consumer and government-to-consumer spaces.
